The Palestinian Capitalists That Have Gone Too Far

Primary tabs

Author
Annotation:

This article discusses the ways in which Palestinian capitalists have been a large aid to the Israeli occupation and the process of de-development, which originally argued that this process was entirely Israeli driven. Through multiple examples, like the construction of the city of Rawabi, the author shows how many Palestinian actors have become enthusiastic supporters of the status quo, and have vested interests in maintaining it as it would benefit their business ventures. This is all accomplished via partnership with Israeli business.
