A Palestinian prisoner arrested by the Israeli occupation prior to the Oslo Agreement, sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of an Israeli soldier in 1984. He completed his university studies and received a master's degree in political science behind bars. He fought alongside the captive movement in defending their demands,His name was associated with The "Parallel Time" play  inspired by his experience in captivity, during his years of detention, wrote many books and prepared studies and articles on his experiences in captivity, torture and resistance.
