Professor of history at Tel-Hai College in the Galilee. He is a member of the Safdie family. He holds PhD in Middle Eastern history from the University of Haifa in 2000. He is a specialist in Palestine's social and political history during the Mandate period. He has several papers, including: "The History of Al-Tuqan in the Mount of Nablus" and "The Villages of Safad in the Mandate Period".
