Legal scholar and professor at the University of Antwerp, specializing in human rights and children’s rights. He researches economic, social, and cultural rights, as well as cross-border human rights obligations of states and corporations. He has also held the UNICEF Chair on Children’s Rights and serves as the chair of Broederlijk Delen, an organization focused on justice and development.
