Past is Present: Settler Colonialism in Palestine

Primary tabs

Annotation:

The paper insists on the need to start framing the relationship between Palestine and Israel and settler-colonialism and that such an analysis will be useful in a twofold manner: on the one hand, it will create an opposite narrative on the exceptionalism of Palestine, connecting Israeli practices with other practices around the world, while on the other hand it is useful to insert Palestine in indigenous studies. Setting the Palestinian context within indigenous studies is vital not only for academic research to shed light on aspects that are normally overlooked, but also to create a new narrative on its history. Moreover, it will strengthen the bonds with other struggles.
