A sociologist at Birzeit University and research fellow at the Palestinian Institution for the Study of Democracy (Muwatin) in Ramallah, and lecturer at the University of Reham and the University of London. And as visiting scholar at the University of Oxford in Britain, his articles and writings focus on Palestinian society, the Arab-Israeli conflict, Middle East issues and poverty.
