Palestinian writer, He serves as a director of the Society for Democracy and Community Development in Jerusalem, a member of the Palestinian National Council, and also serves as a journalist and trainer for 30,000 Palestinians on democracy and institution building issues. He has written nearly 27 books in addition to research papers, most of which concern democracy, civil society, citizenship and refugees.
