Faculty member at the Department of Law and Public Administration and is the Director of the Israeli Studies Program. She held the position of chairperson of the Law Department from September 2018 until July 2021. Halla holds a BA in Law from BZU, and an LLM from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She finished her S.J.D. in 2015 from Washington College of Law at American University in Washington DC, completing her dissertation titled "Pregnant Women's Access to Health Care in the Occupied Palestinian Territory: application under the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court."
