Profile

Director of the Palestinian Independent Commission for Human Rights (ICHR), he holds PhD in Social Policy and Management from Brandeis University. He is a co-founder of the Palestinian Central Elections Commission (CEC) and its Chief Electoral officer from 2004-2006 during which he led the CEC executive body through the Palestinian presidential elections of 2005 and the legislative elections of 2006. His  articles published in Arabic and English are focused on human rights, access to justice, political development, election administration and public administration.
