A Palestinian writer, resident in Britain, and a lecturer in contemporary Middle East politics at the University of Cambridge. He holds a PhD in International Studies from the University of Cambridge. Director of the Arab Media Project at the Center for Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies. He has several books that published in English and Arabic.
