Faculty member in the Department of Educational Sciences at Birzeit University, holds PhD in Curriculum and Science Education, University of North Colorado, USA. She has held several positions at Birzeit University including: Dean of Graduate School, Head of Education and Psychology Department, Master's Program in Education, Director of Teacher Training Program. She has also served as Minister of Education in the Palestinian Ministry of Education and Education Counselor for a number of international programs and institutions in Palestine, such as the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), UNESCO, Yuntad, UNRWA and Save the Children Fund.
