A human rights activist, holds a doctorate in international law, he Previously worked as a lawyer and legal researcher at Al-Haq. He is currently the Director of the Observatory; the Arab Center for Human Rights in the occupied Syrian Golan. He is accredited as a consultant and researcher to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in the field of international trade. Most of his studies focus on the legal status of the Arab territories occupied since 1967, particularly the legal status of Jerusalem and its Palestinian citizens.
