Professor of Philosophy presently at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies. He previously held faculty positions at the Yarmouk University of Jordan, Palestine's Birzeit University and Qatar University. His research currently focuses on identity and historical and present-day Islamic philosophy as well as on democracy, women's rights and human rights.
