الشرح:
This article critically appraises what has come to be known as ‘Fayyadism’ and the policy of the PA in the West Bank after 2007, it draws upon experts as well as field work from Balata and Jenin refugee camps and how they evaluated and perceived this period of Palestinian politics. Despite western accolades, the people on the ground do not feel any positive effects for Fayyad’s government, and believe he is harming rather than helping. This can be seen through the often touted “increase in GDP” while not creating any new jobs.
