Post-Doctorate in progress at the University of São Paulo (USP). PhD in Anthropology from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). Master in Social Anthropology from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). As an anthropologist, he is dedicated to studies of territorialities, borders, mobilities and construction of identity expressions in contexts of transit between different spaces. With an emphasis on Palestine, he resides in the country for, in total, three years, apart from a decade of visits to conduct field research. Currently, he conducts research on the Brazilian academic bibliographic production that has Palestine as a central theme. Among other topics of interest are the anthropology of music, ethnomusicology, anthropology of politics and post-colonial studies. He is also interested in the anthropology of the Middle East, with an emphasis on Palestine, music and politics in Palestine, and the political uses of Arab musical practices and productions. He has a degree in music (Composition and Conducting) from the School of Music and Fine Arts of Paraná (EMBAP).
